Stone pavements are the historical, architectural, and cultural heritage of lots cities in Italy world. Road managers should be able to make decisions on global conditions define most suitable strategies maintenance interventions for every type pavement. There no standard monitoring methods or criteria evaluating stone pavement performance. These have more uneven surfaces than traditional pavements, but this characteristic could accepted if vehicles relative travel considered. Therefore, it is useful assessing roughness considering comfort experienced by users different vehicles. In research, both innovative methodologies irregularities been investigated using true surface profiles. regard, performance indicators such as International Roughness Index (IRI) defined ASTM E1926, ISO 8608 classification, frequency-weighted vertical acceleration (awz) provided 2631-1 assessment case assessment, three dynamic vehicle models (bike, automobile, bus) adopted.
